Happy Friday Everyone! I was sent this dreamy new track this morning by new artist Ellie Schmidly. “‘One More Wave’ is about the bittersweetness of beautiful moments in life,” recalls Schmidly. “I sometimes find myself celebrating joyful times only to be interrupted by the fact that the moment will pass. It seems grim, but I think it gives us freedom to find gratitude for something in every season of life.” If that’s not relatable I don’t know what is. Specifically for me, every time I go to a concert or music festival I have the best time but towards the end I realize it will be over and then I get overwhelmed with having to say goodbye to such magical moments and go  back to everyday life. Know what I mean? Ellie does ;P.

Phoenix Releases Title Track From New Album “Ti Amo” (And The Crowd Goes Wild!)

The four fabulous Frenchmen of Phoenix gave us a lil prezzy today in the form of the title track from their new album “Ti Amo” due out next month! This is the second song they’ve released from the album, following the first release “J-BOY”. I’m biased here because Phoenix is my favorite band but both of these songs are blowing my mind. Out of the two “Ti Amo” has my heart with its dancey beat and the lyrics, trés sexy! Open your legs..I mean EARS ;p and listen to the song below and get excited because we will have that glorious album in our hands in just four weeks!
