Sasquatch Music Festival 2017 Lineup Announced!
Ohhhhh Sassy. last year I checked Sasquatch off of my music festival bucket list and had what was quite possibly the best time of my life. I still haven’t been able to post about it because it’s hard to put into words how amazing it was ( I will soon, I promise). Today Sasquatch announced their 2017 lineup and while I don’t think it’s as great as last years, I do think there are some really good artists coming to The Gorge Memorial Day Weekend! Some of which are: Phantogram, MGMT, Rufus Du Sol, Chance the Rapper, Kiiara, Kaytranada, Jagwar Ma, The Shins, Bonobo, Mac Miller, Big Gigantic, and more! See the full lineup below. Tickets go on sale Saturday, January 28th at 10AM. Click here for more information.
Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival 2017 Lineup Announced
And here we are again with the latest installment of awesome lineups! This morning Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival released it’s lineup for this years festival which will take place June 8-11 in Manchester, Tennessee. If any of the recently announced festival lineups are any indication of how the year will go, I’m not mad about it. Red Hot CHili Peppers, Chance the Rapper, U2, and the Weeknd are set to headline.
I’m personally most excited about Major Lazer after seeing them last year. Also set to play the fest are Glass Animals♥, Flume (remember what I said about him taking over the festival scene this year?), The XX, Lorde, Louis the Child, Marshmello, Big Gigantic, Tegan & Sara, Milky Chance, Bad Suns, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, COIN, Leon, Cold War Kids, Crystal Castles, Gallant, Portugal The Man, and more!
Coachella 2017 Lineup Announced, Tickets On Sale Tomorrow 1/4/17
Earlier today Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival announced their 2017 lineup for both weekends which will be April 14-16 and April 21-23 and..it’s REALLY good you guys! The festival FOMO will be strong this year with this one. Are you going? Who are you most excited to see? If I were to go I would be most excited about: Radiohead, Glass Animals, Beyonce, Phantogram (obviously), Galantis, Kaytranada, What So Not, Jai Wolf, Marshmello, Real Estate, Big Gigantic, Royksopp, Schoolboy Q, Mac Miller, Banks, Jagwar Ma, Grouplove, Mac Demarco, and a lot more (so basically thew whole damn lineup!). I’m actually a little surprised to not see Flume on the list since he seems to be scheduled for quite a few festivals earlier in the year. Hmm perhaps he will be a late addition? Tickets will be going on sale tomorrow (Wednesday, January 4th, 2017) at 11:00AM PST. Click here for more information. Let me know your thoughts and check out the full lineup below!
Guava Festival 2015 Lineup Has Been Announced!
I am especially excited about this announcement after going last year (see my post on it here) and having the best time! If you live in the Florida area you HAVE to make it to this festival, it’s smaller then your usual music festival which makes it more intimate and theirs nothing better than seeing such BIG NAMED ARTISTS in a small and intimate setting…plus they have a ferris wheel and other rides! See you there! Check out the lineup below (my mind is blown- strokes, PIXIES?!, Hozier, yes please!) and click the image to head to the official Guava Festival website to keep an eye out for tickets!
IMHB’s Hypothetical Line Up: FYF Fest 2014
Every year when music festival season comes around I start to feel the “too many festivals, not enough resources” blues. I’m sure you all know what I’m talking about. Even though I know I can’t go to all these festivals, there is a part of me (the part that’s seriously in denial) that prefers to play pretend in the form of making my personalized “bands to see” list. If you’ve been to a festival, you’ve made this list, and if you haven’t…well you’re just not very organized. I know that when I go to Lollapalooza every year my favorite thing to do while I wait for the festival to get here is to pick and choose which bands I want to see since there a few hundred to choose from and almost all of them are great!
Here is who I would see if I were going to FYF Festival…

Coachella is a very special Festival to me. I’ve never been but it seems like Lolla…AMPLIFIED. Also there are tons of celebrities there which doesn’t hurt either. I am hoping to be able to cross Coachella off of my bucket list in the next year or two. Until then, here is who I would see if I were going to be there this weekend…

Lightning in a Bottle Festival is a festival based in Southern California presented by the awesome people over at The Do LaB. I have never been to this festival or anything like it but after reading up on it, it sounds like a whole other world…in a good way of course! Like the kind of place you go and come back a new and better person. I am really impressed by how much there is to do at this festival. There is literally something for every type of person. Some Lollapalooza Headliners Have Been Announced!!!!
Ohhh my goodness people! It is getting to be that time of year again, the time when our music festival hero Perry Farrell begins to share with us what amazing bands will grace our presence in what I like to call the Disneyland for music lovers..LOLLAPALOOZA! Yesterday a handful of headliners were announced and a couple of them were bands I had been seriously hoping would be there!
